Shipping Policy

Free Shipping

Only select items are eligible for free shipping. Look for the Free Shipping badge on specific products and choose "Promotional Free Shipping" method during checkout.

Free Shipping does not always follow the same time estimates as "Standard Shipping" because items will be sent out via the cheapest available carrier and large items in particular, such as pool heaters and pool kits may not be delayed if no su

itable freight carrier is available at the time. We do not make any promises or guarantees regarding delivery times for Free Shipping items and recommend that you choose one of the paid shipping methods if your order is time-sensitive.

Pickup at Our Location

You always have the option to pick up your order at our location in Vaughan, ON - just select "Pick Up" when prompted for a shipping method during checkout. Please note that the above location is a warehouse, not a retail store. If you want to pick up your item from our warehouse, you must place the order online and we will send you a confirmation email as soon as it's ready.

A valid photo ID or your confirmation email is required for picking up your order. Typically orders are available for pick-up next day, Monday to Friday.

Oversized Items and Additional Charges

Large items may be considered oversized and may be subject to additional shipping fees. Oversized items which cannot be shipped by courier will be delivered by common carrier. If a lift gate is required for your delivery, a handling fee will be applied. Wherever possible, orders will be shipped via FedEx ensuring that you get your merchandise as soon as possible. Some very large and heavy items, such as steel pool kits, which are only available for pickup at our warehouse location.

When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping method you choose, shipping date estimated may appear on the shipping quotes page.

Toronto Pool Supplies reserves the right to contact the customer in the rare circumstances where shipping charge calculated within an order is incorrect upon investigation. If actual shipping is more expensive, the customer will be given the opportunity to pay the difference or cancel the order.

The buyer is responsible for any taxes or tariffs associated with the purchase.

Shipping & Risks during Shipping

When products are shipped to you by common carrier, Toronto Pool Supplies' liability to you for breakage and/or non-delivery of the products by the common carrier to you will be limited by the limits of liability provided by the common carrier’s terms and conditions of carriage.

Shipping Insurance

If you selected one of the insured shipping methods, in the event that your package or item arrives damaged Toronto Pool Supplies will file an insurance claim with the carrier on your behalf and ship you a replacement item once that claim is approved.

Please note that if a product arrives damaged, you must note it with the driver in writing on the receipt you sign, failure to do so will nullify shipping insurance. Please take a picture of the package to properly document damage and do not open or use the item and then contact Toronto Pool Supplies and let us know that you would like to file an insurance claim regarding your order. The carrier has the right to send someone out to inspect the item and verify the damage. The damaged item must be kept with the original packaging until the carrier has completed their inspection.

LTL items (ie: Pool Heater or Furnace) must be inspected by the receiver prior to signing off on the delivery receipt. In the case, you signed off for the item without inspecting it and it turns out to be damaged the carrier has the right to deny the claim.
