Forget about waiting all day for your pool to warm up. The Sta-Rite Max-E-Therm’s PMG burner technology heats water rapidly, and means that the product doesn’t need a draft hood when used outdoors. Its sleek, matte-black housing is made from Dura-Glas™, Sta-Rite’s own patented thermoplastic resin, which provides excellent protection from both rust and heat, and a robust exchanger unit allows the model to perform reliably even in acidic environments, or after extended use. With an efficiency rating of 84%, it is the most energy efficient product in its class, meaning you won’t have to waste your money on fuel – and with its environmentally friendly, low-NOx exhaust, it’s good for the planet, too.

The Sta-Rite Max-E-Therm’s interface consists of an LED temperature indicator and two thermostat controls, and its control panel can be clocked to six different positions. Safety settings reliably ensure the product will not overheat by locking it out at dangerous temperatures. A versatile model, it has settings for both pool and spa use. It’s quick and easy to fit the product to a wide variety of both filters and gas inputs, and its compact size makes retrofitting a simple task. It’s even the most lightweight product in its class.

Nine different options are available. Choose between natural gas and propane as a fuel source, or between copper and cupro-nickel in its heat exchanger. (Note: the cupro-nickel units burn natural gas.) The standard copper heat exchanger provides 84% energy efficiency, while the heavy-duty cupro-nickel exchanger provides 82%.
