Pentair High Limit Sensor 150F Auto-reset NT
To enjoy comfortable pool or spa water each summer season, the temperatures within your heater rise extremely high to heat water fast and efficiently. But, your Pentair heater is only designed to handle temperatures that go so high. In each Pentair pool and spa heater, high limit switches are included to protect your heater by shutting it down if the temperature gets too high. This built-in feature ensures that more extensive and expensive damaged is not done to your heater when there is a problem.
Over time, high temperatures, frequent use, and exposure to moisture and weather can cause your high limit sensor to corrode. If this happens, you'll need to find a replacement that fits your existing heater.
